Ive had my fridge for 10 months.

In the 10 months Ive had service and had to have my secondary ice maker replaced twice. Its hooked up to wifi and LG can let me know when Im having a problem. LG knows they have a problem with this ice maker and have done everything to fix it. Its working great. The service people that have come out have been great. My service technician is very polite and very knowledgeable. My whole kitchen is LG also when we moved into our new home last year we put 8 TVs in they are all LG. So I would say Im a LG customer.

Love the fridge it has nice features and modern look. Craft Ive maker was an important feature for me. Disappointing that it stopped working in about a year and a half. LG did extend the manufactures warranty. Which is an indication there is a problem with them.

Great Unit LG made good on a couple of issues

We like the Refrigerator. It is counter depth so smaller but enough for us. The door ice and water dispensers are better engineered than many. We really like the golf-ball-sized craft ice it makes though we had some issues at first LG showed us how to get it on track. This large ice maker in the top freezer is in addition to the small cube ice maker in the refrigerator door. However we live in Texas where we go through ice Just know that the craft ice maker takes up just over 1/3rd of the top freezer space. So decide if ice or space is more valuable to you. There was a ding on the door on installation--not sure if installers did this or not. But LG replaced the door. We bought this through COSTCO and had to go a couple of confusing rounds with them and LG to get these items addressed. But when the local LG rep showed up he was great efficient and helpful.

I like the sliding shelf we had that in our old fridge and it is really handy. I really enjoy the water and ice outside the fridge however I do wish the cubed ice didnt stick together so quickly maybe we dont use it enough. We really enjoy our craft ice however we have never had perfectly round full balls and at one point they started coming out smaller. I cleared out the tray and they started over pretty normal sized again. The bummer is that the craft ice tray will get full of little shards of ice when it dispenses the ball from its form. You have to manually clear all that out if you dont want build up. The deli drawer is great but I accidentally dropped something on it and the lid cracked. It took ages to try to get through to someone to get a replacement part and we still dont have the part yet nor do we know if it is coming with instructions on how to replace it. They wouldnt send me a tech to get the work done. So unfortunately that piece of plastic is a little cheap.

Some ice issues

Have had this fridge for about 6 months. Overall a nice fridge but having some ice issues. About 2 weeks ago had to have the craft ice maker replaced. Now have a code from the main ice maker. Looks like that will need to be replaced as well. Not sure if this bodes well long term. Glad I bought a 5 year warranty

I am very pleased with my new refrigerator/freezer. I like the ice maker and crushed ice feature and makes plenty of ice for my husband I. Im not as pleased with the ice maker in the freezer. I have it set as instructed on 6 Icee to make more ice but still not making as much as it should. Ice balls do last a long time. So well see how we do with ice with Thanksgiving and the family coming.

Bought this fridge in March. Since we received it LG has had to come and replace multiple parts including the motherboard. Such an expensive fridge to have so many problems in such a short time. I had done research and this proved to have such great reviews. But going forward I will definitely research alternative brands as once the warranty expires were stuck with a dead fridge.

Ive had this refrigerator for about 2 months. I like everything about it except two minor things. The craft ice balls arent perfectly round. There is an area that has flat. Think of it as you can stand up the ice ball and it wont roll away. It would be nice to have a light at the bottom freezer. The light is just at the top so the bottom portion is dark.

I really like the double freezer drawers that eliminate digging to the bottom of a deep drawer to find something. The finish is beautiful absolutely NO fingerprints. The motor is the next thing to silent i cant hear the motor run at all.

I have owned several refrigerators in my life and this one by LG is absolutely the best value and product. The design on the inside left door which hides the ice cube bin is a very useful design because it enables you to have the same amount of storage room as you have on the right side. There is no shortage of space due to that great design. I also love the craft ice. I always had to buy the sphere ice shaper and fill I and put in my the freezer in order to have my ball ice. Now I no longer need to do that. Its amazing

Ive only had this fridge for 3 weeks but Im in love with it I love the finger proof finish. The counterdepth is perfect in my older home. Its actually about the same depth as my 90s model double door fridge however theres so much more space inside. I also love the craft ice.

Love the Fridge - Craft Ice Not So Much

I have been thrilled with the way the French Door LG is organized. It can hold a lot and has never failed to delight me until the end of May. My LG was delivered on March 2 2022 and worked perfectly until the end of May at which time the craft ice dispenser stopped working. I promptly called Costco Concierge and an appointment with the repair technician was offered for June 16 2022 which I accepted. The tech tried a reset of the craft ice dispenser but it did not work so now I am waiting for the new dispenser to arrive for installation. Thankfully the in-door ice dispenser works just fine. I am glad I have a warranty and that I also paid for the extended warranty if major parts are going to fail a few months after installation. Other than the craft ice dispenser no other defects have been noted. Everything else works well and I have been delighted.

Nice fridge if we get it repaired?

We purchased this in July 2021 and was delivered in September. We moved it into our new Kitchen addition in February of 2022. Shortly after an error msg appeared on the display. Did not know what it was at first but discovered there was a problem with the cooling fan. Trying to get service in our area took several phone calls and much frustration. As of right now we have approval to get it serviced but has not happened. We bought all new LG appliances at the same time and all the others work fine. I read several reviews about LG and they were good thats why I went with LG.

It took months to get this delivered but we really like it. Nice looking spacious and quiet. Not 5 stars because the ice maker has already jammed once and even though we love the craft ice you have to push the ice towards the front of the bin to get it to make more. Also - beware that the warranty starts the day you pay for it. Ridiculous. It took over two months to get delivered and I had to go back to HD to have them add an additional two months back on to the warranty. LG said they would offer good faith but that means nothing without having something in writing.

Beware the Ice Maker Fan

Pros: Love having separate freezer bins and the water area is big enough to hold a lot of the larger bottles that didnt fit in our previous refrigerator not an LG. Cons: The ice maker fan had to be serviced TWICE within the four months that weve had the refrigerator. Apparently this is a common/known issue so be prepared. Our repair person was great and we were able to have him come back the second time as well.

Craft Ice is great feature

This was our frig in a new build custom home. The unit is well designed. It runs quietly and produces ices via the door and via the craft ice dispenser in the lower freezer. Craft ice made my friends jealous Plenty of room and the shelving is flexible to hold various shaped containers. Door storage is adequate as well.

My LG Smart Counter depth refrigerator is GREAT It had the two ice makers I wanted since the in-door ice maker does not make enough for my family needs. If I had to find one thing I do not like about my new LG frig it would be that the bottom drawer of the freezer section does not have a light.
